There’s no denying that babies and all the mini size stuff that goes with them is pretty much the most adorable thing ever! What’s not quite as adorable is when said “stuff” starts to pile up in corners, and is coming out of overfilled drawers.
Little ones require a lot, and we’ve both learned a few things along with way with our own kiddos.
What’s our biggest tip? Have ample storage. Even if the nursery is small- a dresser, well thought out baskets, and shelving can make all the difference.
Another tip to maximize your space is have your changing table (and basket to hold all the supplies) on top of your dresser. Inside the dresser we love using foldable drawer dividers to file fold and separate items like: onesies, personal car products, socks, and blankets.
Besides just the essentials you’ll want to make the space individual to you and your baby, and we love using items like blanket ladders and open shelving for a displaying personal items.
Add in a little book shelf for that future bookworm, and it’ll keep your favorite stories accessible but off the floor.
Finally, for baby’s mementos that you’ll want to frame, or even their first finger painting – creating a gallery wall is always a fun option! These frames can be changed out as often as you like, by using little clothes pins at the top.
Happy organizing!
Love,
