At Style + Dwell we love when things look pretty. Want to know what we love even more? When beautiful design combines with great functionality. We partnered with our friends at The Container Store to show you how to organize your fridge, and keep it that way. We understand that a super organized fridge can look intimidating and impossible to maintain. But with the right strategy, and products – it’s a piece of cake!
Fridge organizing tips
A fridge can be one of the hardest areas to keep organized (well besides the notoriously difficult lazy susan). One big tip for getting you fridge organized for good is to create a “home” or designated zones for your food items. For example, in this space we used The Container Store’s new refrigerator organization bins to make the following stations: dips, sauces, snacks (great for keeping healthy options accessible), and our favorites: a lunch + meal prep area.
Making the most of meal prep bins
Mornings are one of the busiest times of the day, and being able to sort out the parents + kids lunches ahead of time is a serious time saver! The same theory applies to having items prepared for the week’s meals, and then when your ready for them: simply grab that night’s dinner out of the “meal prep” bin.
How to store produce in you fridge
Let’s chat about produce for a minute. Many of us have designated crisper drawers, but they might not always work like they should, and they can get dirty quickly. Solution? Enter the Oxo greensaver, these guys are nothing short of amazing. We love that The Container Store has thousands of kitchen products to make the most of your home, and the greensaver has got to be one of our all time favorites! These guys keep your fruits + veggies ultra fresh. There’s no need for a separate strainer to wash produce, as it’s built in. A double win in our book!
Beverage storage
Last but not least, organizing all those beverages. I find beverages take up most of the valuable real estate in my fridge. A good remedy? Go vertical! Yep, you’ve hear us talk about the importance of vertical storage before, and the same applies here. We love decanting beverages into tall clear carafes. These stackable wine holders are a home run for keeping wine or water at the ready.
We’d hope this guide for how to organize your fridge, and keep it that way has been helpful. We’d love to see your fridge organizing projects!
Happy Organizing,
Ashley + Lindsay

Thank you so much! We create our labels using a Cricut machine. But the Container Store sells similar style labels from their Home Edit collection that would work great!
